Job Details: Position: Street Sweeper Operator (Night Shift) Hours: 7:00PM-3:00AM Location: Dearborn, MI Pay (Union Scale): $21.87- $28.18per hour depending on experience + OT + Prevailing Wage This position is part of the Operating Engineers 324 Union Location.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Flexible regarding work schedule as operation is 24/7/365 days a year
- Valid CDL A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- Prioritize health and safety
- Communicates well with supervisors, management, crew, and customers
- Be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicles Record Check
Nice To Haves
- Previous Street Sweeper experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Operates and drives Street Sweepers for various customers, including to and from work sites
- Cleans equipment
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to supervisor
