Moreover, our On Demand pay service allows youto get paid as you earn! SCA is seeking experienced CDL B drivers with an air brake endorsement. In this role, you’ll operate a Broom Sweeper Truck or a Dump/Follow Truck while providing prompt service on scheduled routes. Vacuum Sweeper: Removes debris such as broken pavement, asphalt, concrete millings, mud, seasonal/weather-related buildup, and highway waste. Follow Truck: Tows an attenuator housing the arrow board to safely divert traffic around the sweeper.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Willingness to be exposed to noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., bend, kneel, crouch, and operate equipment for extended periods
  • Strong vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
  • Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE (ear, eye, and safety gear)

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
  • Review and complete scheduled routes; ask clarifying questions if anything is unclear.
  • Operate trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Complete jobs within the allotted time while maintaining quality standards.
  • Exercise caution during inclement weather.
  • Report any equipment failures, near misses, or accidents within 8 hours.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
