About The Position

StreetSide is a grocery delivery and curbside pickup service offered at select United Family locations. This service allows guests to place orders 24 hours a day, with the option to pick up curbside at a convenient time or have their groceries delivered directly to their homes. The role of a StreetSide Personal Shopper is crucial in ensuring that orders are carefully selected and bagged, guaranteeing the freshest products and the highest level of service that the United Family is known for. Personal Shoppers are responsible for guest relations and satisfaction, building a reputation for Ultimate Service. In this position, the Personal Shopper will select StreetSide online orders and package them according to Store Operations Policies. They will ensure that all perishable and non-perishable merchandising areas related to StreetSide are clean and free of debris. A key responsibility is to acknowledge, greet, and engage guests as they enter the area. The Personal Shopper must accurately select the highest quality products to meet and exceed company expectations. They will also package, transport, and load groceries and merchandise from the store to the guests' vehicles. Additional responsibilities include assisting in sorting and unloading merchandise, maintaining cleanliness in the StreetSide area, answering product-related questions, and organizing the prep area and sales floor for incoming trucks. The Personal Shopper must adhere to safety and sanitation standards, minimize shrink through careful handling of products, and achieve productivity standards set by the company. Compliance with all Federal, State, and Company regulations regarding product freshness, food safety, and sanitation is essential.
