About The Position

Our client is a leading provider of high quality seafood products, including Dungeness Crab, Wild Salmon, Razor Clams, White Albacore Tuna, Black Cod, and more. They also offer a diverse range of microgreens, truffle products, smoked salmon, and other specialty food items. They pride themselves on their commitment to sustainable sourcing and premium quality. Now, they seek a driven and experienced Street Sales professional to join their team and help them expand their reach within the restaurant industry. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package with employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience selling seafood to restaurants.
  • Ability to consult on menu choices and advise on the best product selections.
  • Stable work history; no job hoppers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct sales to restaurants, casinos, country clubs, and white linen restaurants.
  • Promote and sell our client's diverse product range, focusing on seafood, wild foraged foods, mushrooms, truffles, microgreens, caviar, oils, and vinegars.
  • Generate own leads and manage client relationships within the Puget Sound area, from the Peninsula & Bainbridge down to Olympia north to South Seattle.
  • Consult, advise and educate customers about the best product choices, elevating our client's value proposition through high-end selling techniques.
  • 80% prospecting, 15-20% account management.
