About The Position
This position performs duties that result in or contribute to the comfort, convenience, or safety in Oakdale by ensuring efficient and effective operation of the City's street and storm sewer facilities. Primary job responsibilities include snow and ice removal, pavement management and repair, surface water maintenance, including catch basin maintenance, pipe, culvert replacement/repair, sediment and erosion control, and safe operation of a variety of equipment. As a member of the Public Works department, our maintenance staff helps all divisions as needed, appropriate, or directed, with the position expected to work with a degree of autonomy in most areas of responsibility.
