The Streaming Operator (Part Time) position at Endeavor Streaming involves working in a dynamic 24/7 global environment, primarily responsible for managing the streaming of live events. This role is crucial for ensuring the proper delivery of content from the Master Control Room (MCR) or third-party sources. The operator will monitor and slate events, set up local streaming architecture, and perform quality assurance monitoring of both ingest and egress streams. Additionally, the operator will be tasked with internal reporting and providing stream status updates. Editing of archives or other media packages may also be required based on specific project needs. The position is designed to cover events predominantly taking place from Thursday to Saturday, with the potential for additional hours throughout the week depending on event volume, amounting to approximately 15-30 hours per week. The Streaming Operator will utilize various encoders and tools to insert graphics, slates, and other media into streams as needed. They will also be responsible for ensuring that streams function correctly by following pre- and post-event checklists and communicating with stakeholders when necessary. This role requires a high degree of self-determination, flexibility, and adaptability, as well as a collaborative spirit to work across departments based on project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of broadcast operations, data analysis for service operations, and quality standards for service delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, along with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
