This is a mid-level position that requires a B.S. degree in engineering discipline and typically 5-10+ years of project-related environmental experience, or an M.S. degree with 5+ years of project-related environmental engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Expert knowledge of project management, stream restoration design, computer-based data analysis and design, where site characterization and remediation programs a plus. Applicants in the greater Baltimore, MD, Richmond, VA areas are encouraged to apply! Position provides final technical advisement, review, and approval on project documents, contract negotiations, regulatory negotiations, and complex remedial applications (in conjunction with the professional engineer). Must be capable of prioritizing and integrating various complex tasks. Serves as a technical resource for highly-complex environmental projects. Must have excellent communication, technical writing, negotiation, project management, problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to interact with senior-level client management are required.
