About The Position

As a Boats Group Strategy, Pricing & Analytics Intern , you will support strategic initiatives, answer key business questions, and help drive decisions that shape Boats Group’s direction over the next 1–5 years. You’ll work with the team to turn ambiguous questions into structured analysis—combining data, research, and customer insights to produce clear recommendations. This internship is designed for someone eager to apply classroom learning to real-world work and develop practical strategy, analytics, and communication skills. By the end of the summer, you’ll have partnered with teams across the organization and contributed to work that directly informs business priorities. Over the summer, you'll work on projects, tackle daily tasks, and work collaboratively with our team. In general, your responsibilities will include: Conduct market, competitor, and customer research and synthesize findings into actionable insights Pull and analyze data (Sheets/Excel, dashboards, basic SQL as needed) to explain trends and business drivers Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather inputs and align on next steps Partner closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to understand data structure and build/iterate Looker dashboards to monitor performance Help define metrics and measurement plans for initiatives (what success looks like and how we’ll know)

Requirements

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and working knowledge of SQL (formulas, pivots; basic modeling a plus)
  • Strong writing and communication skills; able to produce crisp, executive-ready summaries
  • Ability to tell a clear story with data: insight → implication (“so what”) → recommendation
  • Curiosity and an ownership mindset—asks good questions and follows through
  • Attention to detail and comfort working with both qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • To guarantee a seamless and enriching experience, candidates must be based in Miami, FL. (Relocation not accepted.)

Responsibilities
