As a Strategy and Planning Advisor Senior within PNC's Technology Resource Group, you can sit in Pittsburgh, PA. Become a part of new Technology Resource Group function that is being stood up to focus on driving strategic workforce planning for the Technology organization. Primary focus of the role is to conduct workforce consultations with Technology teams to help them develop workforce strategies and plans that drive alignment with overall Technology workforce guiding principles. Role will partner with multiple different Technology teams to understand and assess their workforce composition, identify opportunity areas for better alignment with Technology workforce strategy and define action plans to transform the workforce. Role will also work closely with Partner teams including HR Business Partners, HR Talent Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, Contingent Labor and Finance. Opportunity to help define the operating model for the new Technology Resource Group function.

  • Drives specific strategic planning initiatives, including analysis, oversight and support for solution development.
  • Provides advanced expertise to create the definition, understanding and framing of complex business initiatives.
  • Leads advanced planning, analysis, solution development and presentation for more complex strategic initiatives.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy of data elements relative to the initiatives.
  • Mentors and educates team members regarding advanced planning practices.
  • Analyzes and recommends solutions for key initiatives.
  • Develops structured and compelling presentations to highlight key findings and makes recommendations to key decision makers within the company.
  • Collaborates with the line of business to implement recommended strategic solutions.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree.
  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
