About the position

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing cross functional projects that drive strategic initiatives across the company. You will manage the planning, execution, and completion of projects that align with SevenRooms' growth objectives. This position requires a strong mix of project management expertise, analytical skills, and strategic thinking. You will work closely with leadership and teams across the business, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, leveraging your analytical skills to identify challenges, develop solutions, and ensure successful project execution. This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy & Operations. The Strategy & Operations team at SevenRooms is the driving force behind the company's long-term growth and operational excellence. We work cross-functionally to develop and execute key initiatives that align with SevenRooms' strategic goals, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and optimal performance across the organization. Our team is focused on leveraging data-driven insights, improving processes, and guiding business decisions that enhance customer experience and foster company-wide innovation. From strategic planning to operational execution, we play a crucial role in shaping the future of SevenRooms and supporting its continued success in the hospitality technology space.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with objectives, and measurable results.
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, allocate resources, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy & Operations in developing and refining long-term strategic plans, ensuring that key initiatives are on track and aligned with SevenRooms' objectives.
  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement across the organization, implementing best practices to enhance operations and increase overall performance.
  • Act as the key liaison between departments and the leadership team, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze data to assess project outcomes, measure success, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.
  • Anticipate potential obstacles and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Work directly with the executive team, such as the CEO and SVP of Strategy & Operations on the most critical strategic initiatives and cross functional projects at the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, consulting, strategy, or operations roles, preferably within a technology, SaaS, or hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, work autonomously, and demonstrate initiative to drive change.
  • Skilled in identifying issues, assessing risks, and finding creative solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or KPI tracking to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
