Strategic and Operational Consulting is seeking dynamic, self-starters to join our team of internal business consultants and help execute transformational and foundational strategic initiatives, identify local performance improvement opportunities, and design, pilot, and scale solutions across Advocate Health. We invite those with relevant experience in three or more of the following areas to apply: Performance improvement/problem solving, Data analytics/visualization, Financial analysis/modeling, Strategic assessments & design, Project delivery/portfolio management.

  • Execute transformational and foundational strategic initiatives.
  • Identify local performance improvement opportunities.
  • Design, pilot, and scale solutions across Advocate Health.
  • Partner with Advocate Health leaders on key strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Provide a variety of services including strategy facilitation, complex problem solving, solution design, scaling, and implementation of initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Health Administration, Healthcare or related field.
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare administration, healthcare provider, or payer operations.
  • Knowledge and expertise in use of process improvement methodologies and tools (Lean/Six Sigma, PDSA, A3, CAPA).
  • Advanced data analytics skills with an ability to generate relevant insights and produce visualizations.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Epic EHR (Hyperspace) and Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Slicer/Dicer, SSRS/Clarity/BI Launchpad).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and evidence of being a strong team player.
  • Facilitation and persuasion skills with ability to influence peers, superiors and sub-ordinates.
