About The Position

As a Strategy & Operations Automation Manager at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness across Customer Operations. As a member of the Customer Operations Team, you will play an integral role in the wider Fanatics Betting & Gaming ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategy and operations manager who is a natural problem solver and has a strong bias towards identifying operational challenges and driving efficiencies. They will bring thoughtful, creative, and effective ideas and solutions to a rapidly growing organization contributing at a hands-on level, owning multiple projects and workstreams at once. They have a proven track record of digging in and defining what needs to be done while deftly managing and owning a variety of stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience in a Consulting, Strategy, or Finance / Investment Banking function.
  • Strong numerical proficiency and analytical capability (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and willing to dive into data.
  • Experience with AI and GenAI tooling and how it can drive operational efficiencies.
  • An ambitious multitasker, who can move quickly and efficiently.
  • A passion for Sports and an inherent understanding of what Sports fans want in order to be entertained.
  • Excellent communication skills, experienced at presenting to senior and executive leadership.
  • Empathetic team player, accomplished at working effectively cross-functionally.
  • Curious and fast learner willing to dive into sports betting and become proficient in consumer/industry insights and functionality.
  • Passion to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions are made quickly.
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver cross-functional strategic projects focused on improving operational processes, both internally and externally.
  • Leverage data, analysis, and AI / GenAI tooling and processes to identify problems and develop clear solutions.
  • Autonomously ensure successful execution of key short and long-term projects, while continually finding opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Payment & Fraud, Chatbot, Finance, Product, Online Sportsbook, Commercial, Marketing, Trading, VIP, Retail, Engineering, and iCasino functions.
  • Understand customer contact drivers and obsess about ensuring these are met, championing the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Work cross-functionally across the Fanatics ecosystem to leverage and utilize strategic assets into the Sportsbook and iCasino product.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with clear and consistent communication.
  • Intimately understand the sporting calendar and the ability to identify areas of opportunity.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000.
