About The Position
As the Strategy Officer, you will report to the Senior Strategy Officer and be guided by the Deputy Director for Strategy, Planning and Management. The role is based out of Seattle, WA and supports critical strategy projects within the Malaria team. Working within a strategy team structure, you will design and implement high quality qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesize key insights, communicate those insights with senior foundation stakeholders, and engage in external stakeholder management. Two qualities are critical to be successful in this role: 1) Experience and skills in data analytics 2) ability to synthesize input and thinking from subject matter expertise residents on the Malaria PST, across the foundation, and externally. On a project-by-project basis, you will work with strategy and technical team members to develop, refine, and implement R&D strategies for key areas such as digital health, vaccine and biologics, diagnostics, vector control. Likewise, you will assist with country planning for introduction of our interventions, for focal geographies in West and Central Africa. This position is a limited-term position for 24 months based in our Seattle, WA office.
