About The Position

Varsity Spirit is looking to recruit a Strategy Manager to drive strategic initiatives and partner on operational improvement efforts across all areas of the business. The Strategy Manager will report to Varsity Spirit's Director of Strategy, and will work closely with colleagues across the Varsity Brands enterprise to identify, frame, and solve critical business questions. The role will require a broad skill set, including a focus across Corporate Strategy, Analytics, Transformation Leadership, and Business Development / M&A Partnerships.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous quantitative analysis.
• Strong ability to convey complex concepts to all audience levels.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills for relationship building at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to shape stories with structure, data, and logic to make well-supported recommendations.

Nice To Haves

• Passion for live events / sports / performing arts / media & entertainment preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI are a plus.
• Exposure to due diligence projects, growth strategy frameworks, market scan efforts, pipeline analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Strategy and executive team members to define, diligence, and execute critical strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Identify key growth opportunities and work with appropriate business leaders to identify strategic questions, complete analyses, scope resources, and define / execute plans.
• Conduct rigorous, topical analysis and build consensus around data-driven conclusions.
• Lead select high-importance analytical workstreams while collaborating with senior leaders across sales, operations, marketing, finance, and more.
• Partner on and/or lead key transformation initiatives, working directly with general managers/functional business leaders.
• Collaborate with the Director of Strategy to continually assess and update the M&A and partnership pipeline.
