About The Position

The Strategy & Growth Director for the Energy Sector will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of DTN's legacy suite of solutions into the new Fuel Operations HUB. This role will work with the Energy Sector General Manager to develop and maintain the sector's strategy and be the driving force for its execution via strategic organic co-innovation initiatives and identifying and supporting strategic growth acquisitions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Experience in the energy sector or related industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Minimum of 10 years in enterprise solution management, development, or delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in managing and engaging with customers.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Strong innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in driving innovation within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Annual Bookings and Revenue Retention: Achieve 20% of annual bookings from new/modernized DTN solutions. Develop and implement strategies to achieve world-class Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
  • Conduct Comprehensive Market Analysis to Identify and Pursue New Market Opportunities: Define both organic and inorganic growth strategies. Engage with lighthouse customers to confirm and refine strategies and accelerate strategy to execution. Expand DTN's footprint in the Energy Sector.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product development.
  • Create Compelling Business Cases: Support necessary organic and inorganic investments that align with our strategies. Participate in due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
  • Lead Virtual Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate efforts across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Solution Engineering, and Customer Experience teams. Ensure alignment and synergy among teams to achieve project goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to drive innovation and delivery.
  • Develop and Manage Cohort of Co-Innovation Customers: Identify and onboard customers into the co-innovation program. Foster strong relationships to drive delivery and adoption of the Fuel Operations Hub. Monitor and evaluate customer progress and satisfaction.
