About The Position

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help fill a Strategy Consultant role. This position involves the development of new economic models for new ventures being considered, with a strong focus on building models for pricing and contract bids for real estate projects. The consultant will use these models to think strategically about opportunities from a holistic company perspective. The role requires making project decisions autonomously while also driving discussions and recommendations to executive management on strategy and operational rollout where their input is required. Building relationships throughout the company is essential to enable the identification of opportunities to drive improvements on current processes for rolling out new ventures. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for developing and evaluating partnership opportunities with third parties, emphasizing decision-making where appropriate. The role includes wholly owning the project structuring process and negotiations with internal and external partners, working closely with Finance and Operations teams to integrate financial projections into underwriting, and analyzing financial results to identify revenue and cost trends at both a project and company level. The consultant will provide guidance to other departments on making sound financial decisions while directly supporting the CEO and executive team. Furthermore, the consultant will assist in developing annual budgets and have ownership of the forecast projections with variance analysis.
