PA Consulting Group is seeking a Strategy Coordinator to join our Energy & Utilities Sector team in Denver. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys applying critical thinking, organizational skills, and strategic insights to drive impactful outcomes. As a Strategy Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the team’s strategic objectives by delivering high-quality research, facilitating key business operations, and coordinating projects that enable our consultants to deliver exceptional value to clients in the energy and utilities sector. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and has a customer-centric mindset. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and a commitment to quality are essential attributes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and deliver professional, insightful research summaries from secondary sources and subscribed databases.
  • Monitor energy industry trends and developments, compiling daily news summaries and fulfilling ad hoc research requests to inform strategic decisions and consulting engagements.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of data sources, licenses, and databases, ensuring seamless operations while adhering to internal protocols and approvals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including purchasing, approvals, and ensuring compliance with budget and expenditure guidelines.
  • Coordinate the development of proposals, RFQs (Request for Qualifications), and RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Manage vendor registrations and monitor procurement sites for opportunities, sharing relevant insights with the team.
  • Support subcontractor onboarding and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with requirements and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor and subcontractor data for efficient navigation and reporting.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality presentations, proposals, and reports, adhering to PA Consulting’s document standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing systems and best practices, ensuring consistency and accessibility of strategic resources across the team.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects with minimal oversight, demonstrating resourcefulness and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Collaborate across teams to foster a strong network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide additional strategic support and research as needed to align with business goals and client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum two years in a related role).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Access)
