The Strategy & Business Development Manager will help support and drive the development of strategic planning and strategic activities for the Holcim US organization. His/her key objective will be to assist SVP and GMs of individual product lines with evaluation, analysis, development and execution of annual strategic plan, long-range strategic planning (3-5 years), and any merger, acquisition and/or divestment opportunities. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for building valuation and financial models to assist business in making key strategic and business development decisions. He/she will work closely with Marketing and Product Line Business Development Managers to ensure alignment of the projects and initiatives with strategic plan and progress plan. Additionally, the Strategy Manager will execute on strategy/business development objectives outlined in our annual strategic plan, develop/manage financial models for asset valuation and profitability management. Actively cultivating relationships with external partners - bankers, consultants and technology vendors will be a requirement. He/she will be responsible for due diligence review and model development for valuations for all product lines, provide strategic and analytical support for ad-hoc projects while continuously developing and utilizing market intelligence to advance agenda.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Field of Study Preferred: Business or Accounting
  • A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in financial analysis and valuations
  • MS-Excel modeling and presentation building (MS PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of deal applications / data room management
