The position involves assisting in upgrading the research abilities to add more value to both the BOCNY and the BOC Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree/Ph.D. in Finance/Economics/other quantitative fields preferred.
• Proven track record of macro research or banking industry research.
• Ideally experience in econometrics.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Banking industry or financial services experience: 0-2 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct researches in fields including but not limited to the macro economy, financial markets, and the banking industry, as well as their impacts on the bank’s strategies and businesses.
• Provide both periodic and adhoc research reports under guidance.
• Offer expert knowledge and timely advisories to departments in fields such as interest rate trends.
