About The Position

Strategy and Policy Analyst Key Role: Support the client with reviewing, coordinating, developing, and advocating for existing and emerging issues related to strategy and performance measurement analysis, improvement of processes, planning, policy or doctrine, partnerships, and capability needs in networks, cryptology, signals intelligence ( SIGINT ) , cyberspace, and space. Maintain the client’s Standard Organization and Regulations Manual ( SORM ) . Create and maintain operational manuals and related orders as required of a three-star level headquarters. Maintain a comprehensive library of USG, DoD, and Navy policies and instructions. Interpret USG, DoD, and Navy strategies, policy , and instructions and incorporate policies , regulations, strategies, and concepts into new initiatives. Develop written papers, graphic papers, and briefings to present to senior leadership. Perform as a lead integrator for creating and maintaining the FCC or C10F network architecture, Defensive Cyber Operations, Signals Intelligence Operations, and Space strategy and policy . Develop strategic documents or concepts that include goals, objectives, lines of effort, and performance met rics such as measures of effectiveness ( MOE ) or measures of performance ( MOP ) .

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in military or government supporting a cyberspace strategic and operational environment or cryptologic mission in a professional environment
  • Experience with Internet Protocol ( IP ) network strategy and policy
  • Experience working on DoD strategic plans and policy and supporting activities with an emphasis on network operations, network defense, SIGINT, information operations, space, or electronic warfare
  • Experience developing written papers and briefs to senior leadership
  • Ability to interpret and incorporate strategies, policies , and regulations into command doctrine
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Joint Planning Process ( JPP ) and developing and revising DoD Joint planning doctrines and processes
  • TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree
