The opportunity The Strategy & Execution Assistant Director sits in the US/Latam/Israel (USLI) Office of Strategy & Execution (OSE), EY’s internal corporate strategy function that works directly with senior leadership to shape and drive the firm’s most important strategic decisions. The OSE brings analytical rigor and market insight to EY’s decision-making and related processes. The OSE consists of four inter-related pillars: Strategic Intelligence, Strategic Execution, Portfolio Management and Capital Allocation, and Corporate Development. This role provides exposure to all by driving strategic initiatives in partnership with team leadership through research, coordination, analysis, storytelling, and implementation. Typical team projects include firm ambition planning and performance monitoring, business unit-level strategy, competitive intelligence, transformation, integrated planning, capital allocation, scenario planning, and ad hoc analysis of important issues. The Strategy & Execution Assistant Director will play a key role in shaping the future of the firm, work in collaborative team environments, and report to the Director of Strategy & Execution.

Requirements

  • A foundational understanding of the professional services industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a matrix environment and with some level of ambiguity

  • Bachelor’s degree and / or MBA (preferred, but not required)
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy in a large organization
  • Knowledge of strategy development frameworks and analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex information into clear, structured workplans, summaries, and presentations
  • Use internal and external data and qualitative inputs to support insight generation
  • Facilitate collaboration, issue resolutions, and alignment between OSE and key stakeholders in our business units and functions
  • Leverage business knowledge and be an active contributor to project execution and stakeholder engagement
  • Help prepare materials and summaries for senior stakeholder communication
  • Manage the completion of strategic projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,000 to $187,000.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $120,000 to $212,500.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
