About Strategy at CarMax CarMax operates one of the most complex retail and supply chain operations in the country as we sell over a million vehicles to our retail and wholesale customers a year, while serving millions of customers across 250+ locations and digital channels. Our Strategy teams tackle the key questions that define our business: Which vehicles should we acquire and from what channels? How do we efficiently move and recondition millions of cars? How do we allocate inventory across our network? How do we create seamless omnichannel experiences as customers shop online, via phone, and in stores? Our analysts partner closely with Product, Technology, and Operations leaders to answer these questions, driving both operational excellence and strategic innovation.
