About The Position

Innovation Strategists are responsible for gathering wide varieties of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesizing learnings, and helping to envision new opportunities. On a daily basis, they will work hand-in-hand with brand and experience strategists to explore and identify emerging influences on their client’s business. They conduct desktop and primary research, help find proxies for innovative business models, and support more senior teams in developing opportunity models.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of client side or consulting experience in product/service development, enterprise innovation, or corporate strategy;
  • Working familiarity with basic principles of innovation strategy: core, adjacent, and transformational;
  • Willingness to learn brand and experience strategy;
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, new ways of working, and tight timelines;
  • Willing to travel up to 25% for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Apply both creative thinking and defendable rigor to our client’s toughest business challenges;
  • Dig deep into the needs of B2C and B2B businesses and audiences across a variety of industries and emerge with actionable insights;
  • Collaborate with, and take input from strategists, technologists, and designers from different backgrounds;
  • Synthesize learnings into clear and actionable strategic deliverables including landscape audits, journey maps, strategic guides, and product/service/brand concepts;
  • Work with internal and client teams to develop and present work products to executive audiences.
