About The Position

You will be a Strategic Workforce Planner for our Human Resources team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that align with the company's business objectives. This role will require a deep understanding of the organization's current and future workforce needs, as well as the ability to analyze labor market trends, forecast talent gaps, and develop effective solutions to address them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce planning, talent management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic workforce plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience with workforce planning software and tools.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in workforce planning, such as the Certified Workforce Planner (CWP) or the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) certification.
  • Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as aerospace, defense, or technology.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience with strategic planning and development.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans that align with business objectives.
  • Identify key talent requirements, analyze talent gaps and opportunities, and develop integrated talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate stakeholders through identification of strategic business priorities.
  • Translate strategy into roles and segmented skill domains.
  • Forecast talent demand by developing and maintaining forecasting models.
  • Analyze workforce trends, metrics, and costs to inform talent strategy development.
  • Conduct research and analysis of labor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Holistically assess budgets for workforce development initiatives.
  • Lead prioritization of roles and critical skill domain workforce gaps.
  • Facilitate alignment of integrated talent strategies to close gaps and mitigate talent risks.
  • Partner with functional leaders and supporting HR functions to execute aligned talent strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workforce planning processes.
