About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers Oracle’s global cloud services through highly available, large-scale, enterprise-grade data center environments. The Data Center Infrastructure Operations / Facilities team plays a critical role in sustaining OCI’s performance, security, and operational resilience by ensuring infrastructure systems operate reliably at scale. You will join a technically rigorous organization with a culture grounded in operational excellence, disciplined processes, and continuous improvement, where infrastructure reliability, safety, and execution quality are foundational to delivering cloud services worldwide. This role is the single-threaded owner for vendor execution—ensuring contracts translate into reliable outcomes that protect uptime, safety, and delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • Confident negotiator and conflict resolver with strong stakeholder presence.
  • Data-driven approach to performance tracking and issue management.
  • Proficient in contract management and reporting systems.
  • Experience managing critical vendors in data center, construction, utilities, or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Strong contract and commercial acumen with comfort navigating complex vendor relationships.
  • Working knowledge of compliance, safety, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities, including selection, negotiation support, onboarding, performance management, and compliance enforcement.
  • Track vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and safety requirements; drive corrective actions and escalate systemic issues.
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments and support business continuity and contingency planning for critical services.
  • Coordinate execution across site operations, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal to ensure alignment and timely resolution.
  • Lead vendor performance reviews and provide clear, data-backed reporting to site and regional stakeholders.
  • Able to travel up to 25%

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
