The Strategic Technology Integration Manager plays a relevant role in translating national restaurant technology strategy into detailed field execution across the U.S. business. This leader partners closely with Restaurant Technology, Restaurant Operations, Field Leadership, and Owner/Operators to ensure technology initiatives are deployed, embraced, and embedded in restaurant operations to drive measurable business outcomes. Operating with an enterprise approach, the role serves as a strategic integrator and trusted advisor— aligning national priorities with field needs, accelerating adoption, and ensuring technology investments improve guest experience, operational efficiency, and Owner/Operator profitability. The position reports directly to the U.S. Director of Strategic Technology Integration.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Restaurant Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate national restaurant technology initiatives across assigned Field Offices, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and annual business plans.
  • Lead proactive Technology Portfolio Management to ensure platforms remain relevant, integrated, and continuously refreshed.
  • Customize technology deployment targets based on local market requirements and operational readiness.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Field Vice Presidents, Owner/Operators, and Field leadership.
  • Develop and align technology priorities that support field business objectives and long‑term growth.
  • Act as an advocate for business impact—translating technology initiatives into clear value for operators and collaborators.
  • Ensure Field Office readiness for technology deployments, including sequencing, integration, and execution with other initiatives.
  • Lead all aspects of technology onboarding, deployment, and execution for new restaurants, relocations, and rebuilds to ensure timely openings with full functionality.
  • Partner with US Market Technology, OTMs, IPD, PMO, and Deployment teams to test, deploy, and support national initiatives.
  • Lead strategic communications on progress, results, trends, and takeaways across national, field, and local collaborators.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies that drive understanding, alignment, and adoption.
  • Provide mentorship to primary customers on incorporating technology routines into restaurant operations to increase sales, guest counts, and operator cash flow.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Marketing, Development, Field Operations, US Technology, and other partners to align and sequence technology investments.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to cross‑functional teams designing innovative operations technology solutions.
  • Maintain deep subject‑matter expertise across restaurant operations and operations technology initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentor, and direction to Field Office Operations Technology teams and M‑Tech Field Technology Leads.
  • Elevate talent, cultivate an inclusive and high‑performance culture, and exemplify McDonald’s values.
  • Ensure continuity of support through appropriate backup coverage within each Field Office.
