About The Position

FocusKPI is seeking a Strategic Technical Product Manager to deliver deep media insights through advanced analytics for our client, one of the largest retailers and e-commerce companies in the U.S.
Work Location: Remote in the U.S.
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension and conversion, depending on budget and performance
Pay range: $50+/hr

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Product and Project Management, with a strong track record of delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area, and 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (Master’s preferred).
• Experience with GTM, developing and implementing a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy
• Hands-on experience or deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and modern development practices.
• Proven ability to lead Agile programs involving multiple teams, geographies, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to VP and C-level audiences.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and program dashboards for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent writing and making stategies skills are highly required.
• Excellent communication skills is must to have.
• Knowledge on MMM (Market Mix Modelling) is good to have.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Project Management.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area, and 3 years’ experience in product design.
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
• Have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services that follow the client’s accessibility standards and guidelines to support an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional software development programs from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define program scope, architecture, and milestones.
• Drive execution across multiple Agile teams, managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Serve as the technical liaison between engineering and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
• Champion best practices in software development, DevOps, and program governance to ensure operational excellence.
• Track and communicate program health, status, and risks to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability across teams.
• Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to the evolution of program management practices within the organization.
