About The Position

The Strategic Talent Advisor at Danaher Corporation plays a crucial role in providing strategic talent and organizational insights to the leadership team. This position focuses on assessing the talent pipeline, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to close those gaps in collaboration with business and HR leaders. The advisor will work closely with the functional talent pipeline owners to ensure the organization has the right talent to meet its strategic objectives, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the HR function within the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a strategic talent management or advisory role, focusing on talent pipeline development and succession planning.
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, practices, and challenges.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex talent issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Danaher Executive Leadership Team and functional talent pipeline owners to understand talent needs and strategic objectives.
  • Create a plan for effective partnership with business and functional leaders, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs.
  • Develop effective partnerships across the enterprise to gain insights and create strategies, communicating at an executive level.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the existing talent pipeline, identifying skill gaps, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the TPO based on assessments, highlighting areas for improvement and potential talent development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the TPO to develop a comprehensive talent strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective succession planning strategies for executive roles and critical talent.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to identify and recommend talent processes, development programs, and initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between the talent pipeline strategy and recruitment efforts, facilitating a seamless transition from external hiring to internal talent development.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the talent pipeline strategy, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
