The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Join our high-performing Finance team at Dexcom, a leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will support global HR, Finance, and Legal functions by providing financial planning, analysis, and decision support. This role focuses on developing and tracking financial projections, analyzing profit and loss (P&L) impacts, and supporting strategic business initiatives. While monthly accounting close involvement is minimal, you should understand expense and capital/CAPEX GAAP accounting and be able to analyze monthly financial performance at a detailed level.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 -8 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Workday, SAP/Oracle Financials, Hyperion, or BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support FP&A activities for assigned functions, acting as a key resource for financial insights.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Analyze variances and trends across labor and non-labor spend, including consulting, travel, and capital expenditures.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational priorities.
  • Maintain accuracy in Workday and budget templates, ensuring alignment with corporate finance targets.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within FP&A.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to assess risks and opportunities.
