You’ll be the connector between engineering vision and supply chain execution — ensuring every board, component, and supplier partnership is optimized for quality, cost, and continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management within the electronics industry.
- Deep understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and electronic component sourcing.
- Proven success working with global EMS providers and distributors.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of lean principles, IPC standards, and RoHS/REACH compliance.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals and performance targets.
- Build, qualify, and manage a global network of PCB fabricators, EMS partners, and component suppliers.
- Lead supplier audits, performance reviews, and cost-reduction initiatives that create measurable impact.
- Stay ahead of market shifts — from component pricing to geopolitical risks — and turn data into strategic action.
- Partner closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure flawless new product introductions (NPIs).
- Negotiate supplier terms, contracts, and lead times to ensure stability in a fast-changing electronics landscape.
- Analyze spend data, monitor KPIs, and deliver insights that guide leadership decisions.
