About The Position

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This Full-time opportunity will work Monday - Friday from 8:00a - 4:30p and includes a comprehensive benefit package. Example of Essential Functions: The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the procurement of all necessary supplies and equipment needed for patient care, including capital equipment and service contracts. They participate in negotiations to secure appropriate and competitive pricing, and quality service. They are responsible for ensuring accurate price entry on purchase orders and to work through price exceptions between Frederick and Vendor pricing. They may be assigned various supply, service or capital category responsibilities that can change over time. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel.
Internet navigation and ordering.
High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of two years of purchasing experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education.
If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours.
The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable.
