Strategic Sourcing Specialist Monarch Management
About The Position
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing a category management strategy and executing a strategic sourcing plan to support cost reduction and quality objectives for spending. In close collaboration with key team members, this position oversees cross-functional teams that includes general facility and company spend categories. This position is charged with ensuring that all products and services sourced meet defined quality standards, costs are market competitive, cost reduction opportunities are identified and realized, and efficiency improvements are implemented. The ability to work in a team environment, interact with individuals in Management, work across multiple facets of the organization, properly prioritize daily activities, and to understand operational issues in a complex corporate structure is essential in this position.
Requirements
- 4 year degree from accredited university or 5 years of equivalent experience
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able and willing to work with other staff, accept instruction from supervisors and communicate appropriately with residents, visitors and staff.
- Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
