The Strategic Sourcing Specialist coordinates and manages all aspects of sourcing and purchasing for assigned departments per policy. This position coordinates with Department Heads and Legal in leading negotiations that develop contracts containing appropriate language that protects Eskenazi Health, supports cost controlling/savings goals, provides for continuous process improvements and vendor diversity inclusions. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health's mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County.
