About The Position

Superlanet is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Product Manager to join one of our healthcare clients' VMO in Northern California. This is a hybrid role requiring one (1) day onsite per week and is structured as a 6\-month contract with a high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and business needs. This role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives across hardware, software, and SaaS categories, partnering closely with internal technology and business stakeholders to meet organizational procurement objectives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Several years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or operations
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven success negotiating both simple and complex commercial agreements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and standard productivity tools
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long\-term and align sourcing activities with broader organizational goals

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends and supplier landscapes to identify opportunities, assess risks, and inform sourcing strategies
  • Benchmark & Quote Analysis: Evaluate supplier quotes and benchmark data using key cost and value levers to deliver savings and optimize total cost of ownership
  • Sourcing & Planning: Lead end\-to\-end sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, followed by analysis, commercial negotiations, and contract award participation
  • Negotiations: Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and contractual agreements
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while monitoring performance and service delivery
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, manage, and ensure compliance with supplier contracts and agreements
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate sourcing, contractual, and supplier\-related risks in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Cross\-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present sourcing reports, spend analysis, and forecasts to senior leadership
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop supplier management frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies with strategic suppliers
