Requirements

  • Requires a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted
  • Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
  • Improving supply chain and supplier performance processes
  • Working with and managing global OEM suppliers
  • Using cost models and objective based performance measures in OEM environments
  • Sourcing Management or Supply Chain Management with a technology focus
  • EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment and turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design and reverse logistics
  • Driving a plan to bring resolution to differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment and,
  • Hardware design

Responsibilities

  • Work on sourcing activities for components, solutions, and manufacturing services for Meta products, from early technology development to mass production and end of life.
  • Continually work to develop new technologies and secure key partnerships to scale while achieving and deploying best-in-class sourcing strategies including cost, supply, contracts, and relationship management.
  • Interact with cross-functional stakeholders to think broadly about solutions to the most complex operational challenges.
  • Develop tools and processes to understand and make decisions about key sourcing metrics.
  • Research the industry/commodity landscape and analyze industry trends to create competitive advantage.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improved efficiency in workflows.
  • Drive Meta’s long-term equipment asset management strategy.
  • Interface with key capital equipment and/or supply chain suppliers to enable Meta hardware engineering and production teams to manage physical asset life cycles on a global scale.
  • Present project status, learnings, and outcomes to Operations management.
  • 20% travel required – 15% to various unanticipated domestic locations, 5% to various unanticipated international locations.
