Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or any Business related field is required.
  • Three (3) or more years of supply chain, purchasing or procurement experience negotiating contracts and supporting strategic business initiatives.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating multi-disciplinary contracts, strategic category management and Company programs/initiatives.
  • Member of the Supply Chain organization(s) a plus.
  • Six Sigma Certification a plus.
  • Strong computer skills including the advanced/expert use of Microsoft.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Partner strategically with Operational and Functional Leaders and vendors to ensure product, service, and cost standards are met.
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to reduce cost, minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities.
  • Develop category and vendor negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships.
  • Implement vendor agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors.
  • Analyze spending patterns for quality improvement and savings opportunities through spend categories.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, create solutions, and execute and lead plans to optimize business performance.
  • Collaborate with all business leaders to support Company-wide revenue and expense initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers by providing timely and thoughtful responses to requests.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
