About The Position

Meta's Strategic Sourcing Organization is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager to spearhead the end-to-end sourcing processes for Corp Networking Hardware, related services, and Enterprise Security. This critical role involves actively managing sourcing categories, leading supplier negotiations, and supporting and influencing key business decisions to drive successful sourcing outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting within technology categories
  • Extensive experience in effective collaboration, influence, and communication with internal clients and external suppliers
  • Proven experience to analyze complex information and data sets, apply critical thinking, and achieve successful outcomes through negotiation
  • Expertise in drafting and redlining professional services and software agreements, with experience of contract language and terms
  • Proficiency with a variety of tools and technologies, including productivity, collaboration, and contract management software, and quick adaptability to new systems and workflows with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Commercial negotiation acumen, evidenced by a track record of securing favorable terms and managing complex contracts
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills

  • Familiarity with the complexities of Tech Sourcing, particularly networking hardware, software, services and associated agreements
  • Knowledge of datacenter build and maintenance processes
  • Experience collaborating on and supporting global projects

Responsibilities

  • Forge collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to strategically create, implement, and optimize sourcing and spend management solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to translate technical requirements into commercial results, managing the full end-to-end sourcing strategy (planning, execution, measurement, and process optimization)
  • Lead and manage all RFx processes, including supplier identification, selection, internal/external alignment, scoping, scoring, bid evaluations, comprehensive market analysis, negotiations, and final award
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive benchmarking to ensure continuous supplier improvement in purchase price and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Monitor, report on, and implement actions for cost improvements against market pricing
  • Direct contract negotiation and execution (e.g., master agreements, statements of work, order forms, amendments) with both internal partners and external suppliers
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project issues and risks
  • Optimize business benefits by effectively balancing business requirements against technical constraints
  • Build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams including strategic sourcing, contracts, procurement operations, legal, and FP&A
