About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager for Marketing at Meta is responsible for leading a team of Sourcing Managers to develop and execute category strategies for Production services across all Marketing teams. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Marketing, Creative, and Legal, to optimize business value and drive compliance through effective sourcing practices. The manager will take ownership of their responsibilities, solve complex problems, and influence key decisions to enhance operational efficiency and ROI.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sourcing knowledge across Marketing services with an emphasis on Production.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing and Production in driving planning and leading negotiations with global agencies and production companies.
  • Proven experience in managing, developing, and leading a team of experienced direct reports.
  • Experience managing transformational projects requiring high-level change management.
  • Effective partnership and relationship-building skills to understand stakeholders' motivations and priorities.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing operations, including systems and tools, and the agency landscape.
  • Bachelors' degree in Business, Advertising, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance or Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Producer and/or Production Consultant with understanding of the full production process across all media.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, thriving amidst ambiguity while ensuring excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing category optimization initiatives to maximize Marketing ROI by managing comprehensive end-to-end value derived from supplier investments.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies and workflows with a team of experienced sourcing category managers.
  • Identify large-scale operational and financial problems/opportunities and develop scalable solutions that support marketing and finance objectives.
  • Generate and leverage data-driven insights to deliver meaningful solutions that drive efficiency.
  • Lead functional and cross-functional initiatives to improve production operations and re-engineer processes to mitigate risk and increase ROI.
  • Build effective strategic relationships and workflows with external suppliers/agencies to drive results aligned with business objectives.
  • Influence key decisions in cross-functional settings and effectively lead complex forums.
  • Foster a team mindset to develop cross collaboration for long-term success.
