Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 6+ Years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on indirect spend categories
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies through strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, conduct market research, and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and technologies, such as eSourcing platforms, spend analytics, and contract management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CIPS)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for corporate indirect spend categories such as Maintenance, Repair, & Operations (MRO), Facilities, Gases, and other Industrial Categories
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities, market trends, and potential suppliers
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, establish sourcing priorities, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance to drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and optimize value delivery
  • Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives through supplier consolidation, demand management, and other efficiency measures
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including savings achievements, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends to continuously enhance sourcing capabilities and deliver innovative solutions
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
