About The Position

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing or operations management.
  • Experience with agreements, vendor management and supply or demand planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of industry experience in one or more of the following fields: new product introduction/supply chain, management/manufacturing, operations/development or operations engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in supplier development and managing domestic or overseas supply chains.
  • Experience in direct and indirect sourcing for wafer production, managing foundry and Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT) suppliers.
  • Experience solving challenges in operations or supply chain teams.
  • Ability to work, influence, and resolve conflicts cross-functionally with internal or external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing supplier relationships including all aspects of commercial, quality, delivery relating to critical supplies.
  • Be the point-of-contact between suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders within the Raxium team to foster collaboration and supplier development.
  • Identify and implement risk management and sustainability solutions for critically needed supplies.
  • Own and manage all aspects of supplier performance, periodic reviews and audits, ensuring supply continuity. Manage executive level escalations as needed.
  • Manage commercial agreements, Statement of Work (SOWs), and cost negotiations for supplies, spares, capital purchasing and services while traveling to supplier sites as required.
