The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SSP) Team is responsible for delivering global strategic sourcing expertise, value, and excellent service to our technical partners and internal stakeholders by working with them to acquire the goods and services needed to maintain SAS’ world-class business environment.
SSP procurement analysts support requestors through the procurement process and work together to maximize value and minimize risks when contracting with the selected suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree Type: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s
• Targeted majors: Supply Chain, Legal, and/or Business
• You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026 .
• You have experience with the following types of programs: Microsoft ( PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and Data Analytics
• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Leadership abilities.
• Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
• You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Procurement/Supply Chain/Responsible Sourcing and/or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) classes or experience
• Interests in procurement, supply chain, contracting and/or responsible sourcing

Responsibilities

• Assist analysts with various sourcing activities.
• Assist with Supply Chain Compliance and Responsible Sourcing Programs.
• Shadow Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Compliance/Responsible Sourcing staff.
• Participate with analysts/legal during contract drafting/reviews.
• Provide miscellaneous administrative support.
