About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support the procurement team by analyzing and improving the company's sourcing strategies. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3+ years corporate experience required (to include administration functions, scheduling, conducting meetings, managing multiple tasks).
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience with software licensing and professional services agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
  • Analyze spending data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and contribute to sourcing strategies.
  • Assist in preparing reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and key metrics.
  • Help create and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) based on business needs.
  • Support contract negotiations by gathering relevant data and assisting in supplier discussions.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, assist in vendor presentations, and participate in reference checks.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Manager, Project Team, and Legal to review contracts and ensure favorable terms.
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Assist business units in navigating the Third-Party Risk Management Program to ensure vendors are properly vetted before contract execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with internal teams and suppliers using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
