About The Position

To provide foundational support as a representational extension of MasterWord's business development initiatives fostering and maintaining healthy client relationships through data collection, client contact, project management and various business development strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one or more years of experience and/or training in language program management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in English and another language preferred. For the Communication Access vertical, industry-specific knowledge and basic American Sign Language skills required
  • Well organized, self-directed, and dedicated to company growth
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of the team and independently
  • Fundamental business acumen, strong negotiation skills and a positive professional demeanor
  • Excellent internal and external written and oral communication skills; comfortable with preparing and/or leading client facing presentations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Strategic Solutions Executive and engage in industry research, prospecting potential new client and lead opportunities in assigned vertical utilizing various tools, platforms and data available.
  • Identify key personnel, form relations and proactively connect with identified clients by telephone, electronic and face-to-face contact.
  • Maintain and nurturing client relationships.
  • Adhere to MasterWord's Communication Policy standards, respond to client queries in accordance with the policy, escalate potential challenges to Strategic Solutions Executive or management, provide status updates, and maintain positive customer service demeaner at all times.
  • Meet assigned goals.
  • Attend meetings, trade shows, conferences and other events as needed.
  • Understand account margins and assist in implementing strategies for profitability according to Masterword Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Consistently follow up with customers to ensure KPI compliance and client satisfaction with service delivery, quality, and customer service levels.
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally as needed to meet client and MasterWord needs and requirements.
  • Research and analyze existing accounts to identify potential growth/expansion opportunities.
  • Provide clients with relevant information about the company, solutions provided, pricing structure, production processes, project management and customer service.
  • Provide observational feedback and recommendations on necessary changes to streamline and or improve business development processes, procedures, and solutions.
  • Gather all data needed for project estimates and provide information on projects to the estimate team; work with in-house teams to meet customer needs in a complex, relationship-selling environment.
  • Continued improvement in sales and communication skills and continued learning and self-improvement, including but not limited to keeping abreast of the latest trends in the language industry.
  • Perform other special projects and duties when required.
  • Willingness to adhere to required health and safety policies when visiting our clients
  • Other duties as assigned.
