Strategic Security Advisor - Southeast region (TN, AL, or MS) Role Overview Client Partnership & Strategic Alignment Serve as a strategic partner to client leadership, understanding business objectives, operational challenges, maturity levels, and long-term goals. Lead rationalization of client Cybersecurity Program, including people, process, and operational considerations. Drive alignment of recommended solutions to client maturity models, enterprise priorities, and operational needs. Support account planning with Sales, ensuring shared strategy, clarity of objectives, and coordinated client engagement. Partner with Presales Architects and Account Executives to correctly identify, socialize, and document client requirements. Collaborate with Sales leadership to support regional and account-specific resource alignment. Work with Service Delivery and Engagement Leadership to define achievable program outcomes and ensure continuity from presales to delivery. Coordinate with vendor partners to shape and maintain long-term strategic relationships. Client-Facing Enablement & Advisory Lead client workshops to assess needs, clarify objectives, and provide strategic guidance. Conduct Lunch & Learn sessions to educate clients and internal stakeholders on emerging practices and program opportunities. Support operational alignment efforts to enhance client program maturity and optimize technology investments. Provide GRC-aligned advisory to ensure clients are aware of compliance obligations, risk impacts, and governance best practices. Identify opportunities for program efficiency, alignment, and optimization across client engagements. Advocate internally for client requirements, ensuring the right technical, architectural, and strategic resources are assigned. Guide the creation of roadmaps and strategic plans that support client growth and security maturity. Support vendor relationship management to ensure solution fit, partner accountability, and long-term success. Why GuidePoint?
