About The Position

The Strategic Sales Executive at Sodexo is a remote role focused on driving business growth within the Schools Segment. The position requires a proactive approach to identify and develop new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and implement effective sales strategies to achieve financial goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience and demonstrated success with large, complex, multi-million-dollar sales.
  • Proven ability to handle and develop a large number of prospective clients across a multi-state territory.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing short- and long-range sales strategies to achieve targeted new sales goals.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams for proposal development and delivery.
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of contract management.
  • C-level sales acumen.
  • Technical, Financial, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze new business opportunities; develop and maintain positive business relationships with potential clients.
  • Examine client needs to maximize business and/or solutions for business concerns; perform cost-benefits and needs analysis.
  • Develop and implement the business plan, budget and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, hit rate and market growth targets.
  • Lead the development of sales presentations, proposals, and assist in the development of contractual sales documents.
  • Research growth strategies and competitor practices and strategies to evaluate and implement new strategies and comply with all CRM requirements.
  • Sell profitable new business and generate new revenue growth from the right clients under the right terms for Sodexo.
  • Secure and sustain continued business development opportunities for the Company.
  • Develop business solutions to improve client operations and reduce operating costs based on knowledge of organizational strengths and weaknesses, technological advances, external trends, competitors and customer needs.
  • Uphold Company mission and values in addition to Quality of Life Offers as designated by the Segment.
