About The Position

The position involves leading new business acquisition for Hub Group’s retail consolidation programs. The role requires identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with suppliers, manufacturers, and importers who ship into major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Costco. The candidate will articulate the value of retail consolidation, which includes reduced transportation costs, higher OTIF scores, improved inventory management, and streamlined inbound compliance. The individual will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and discovery to solution development, pricing, proposal, and closing. Additionally, the role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams to design tailored consolidation solutions and building a pipeline of strategic targets using data and marketing resources. Staying informed on evolving retailer requirements and trends impacting CPG and retail supply chains is also crucial, along with hitting or exceeding monthly and quarterly new revenue targets.
