About The Position

The Strategic Sales & Analytics Lead will report into the Senior Director, Strategic Sales & Analytics. This collaborative position is a critical leadership role on a transformational strategy and analytics team charged with managing POS insights, master event calendar, market strategy, and pricing recommendations for key accounts. The Strategic Sales & Analytics Lead will be responsible to report on the health of the business, category, and identify market opportunities. This role is vertically integrated with the key leaders of SharkNinja's organization who are managing retail accounts and will be responsible for delivering insightful, actionable and sales analytics to drive faster and better decision making across our retail channel. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, seasoned strategic team member who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and data driven atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Analytics Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges on the executive level
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage master event calendar
  • Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business
  • Ensure brand is winning share and never giving it back
  • Winning with every item meeting benchmark on the shelf
  • Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities
  • Ability to problem solve and react to market threats
  • Present strategic insights based on internal and external data to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization
  • Analyze and evaluate pre- and post-promotion analyses for retailer, quantifying impact to brand and category
  • Understand day to day impact of the POS to facilitate decision making
  • Measure and communicate on sales results; i.e promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extension, pricing strategy, focus project plans on highest impact, etc.
