Plummer has been conducting business with quality and integrity for over 40 years. People are our strongest asset. We are looking for a Strategic Pursuits Manager to join our Tampa office. The Strategic Pursuits Manager will lead and support the proposal team including the creation, organization, development and production of proposals and other formally requested client and/or market-initiated information/material to professionally position Plummer within the water and telecommunications markets.

Requirements

Possesses exceptional organization, grammar, proofreading and spelling abilities
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines
Proficient with computers and software applications, including MS Office (Word expertise especially required), Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
BS in Communications, English, Marketing or related degree preferred
Five (5) years related professional experience, including two (2) years preparing proposals and marketing material in the AEC industry
Experience reading and analyzing RFPs and RFQs, including adhering to compliance requirements
Professional writing experience

Responsibilities

Leads the Plummer proposal team in response to an RFQ and RFP to produce SOQs and proposals
Provides storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuits
Ensures high quality proposal responses while meeting all deadlines; manages all activities of proposal writing, and manages all other proposal responsibilities as required
Presents ideas to Opportunity Managers and Client Service Managers for new, creative and pertinent ideas for work products, proposals, and presentations
Supports the Opportunity Managers and Client Service Managers, and the pursuit teams, in pre-positioning and other Marketing Best Practices (e.g. Brownbags)
Conceptualizes, researches and produces marketing materials, promotions and presentations
Writes non-technical text, and edits and proofreads all marketing communications
Provides QA/QC on proposals and documents (both written and graphic-related)
Responsible for timely production and quality of marketing communications
Actively participates in developing content for marketing materials
Works efficiently and with minimum supervision to set and meet deadlines of projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Produces, packages, and sets delivery for work products including printing, binding, and shipping
Communicates effectively with all levels of staff within the company
Supports other marketing needs as required
