About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Program Manager to lead AAA’s Car Rental Program partnerships across multiple national brands. The Strategic Program Manager, Travel Services, oversees AAA’s Car Rental Program partnerships, driving strategic initiatives that support operational, financial, and member‑focused objectives. This role manages partner performance across multiple national brands, ensuring strong results through active oversight of SLAs, KPIs, and program operations while coordinating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders. The Strategic Program Manager also supports strategic planning and business reviews, conducts competitive research, and leads key program events to advance continuous improvement and business development. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic alignment across one of AAA’s most visible travel programs. The ideal candidate brings strong partner management experience, financial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while advancing member value and business growth. This is not a coordination role. This is strategic partner leadership.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of program management or strategic relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation and partner management expertise
  • Strong financial and accounting acumen
  • Advanced program and project management skills
  • Experience in KPI development, forecasting, and strategic account planning
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence skills
  • Proficiency in Tableau and Excel
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Full operational oversight of the AAA Car Rental Program partnerships
  • Management of contractual SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
