Requirements

  • Acquired experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or engineering environments, with exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Skills include data-driven decision-making, cost optimization (TCO, TLC), supplier relationship management, project management, and familiarity with methodologies such as Value Engineering (VE) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • A collaborative, results-driven professional with strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment in a complex, global environment.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction goals, site objectives, and global sourcing strategies, leveraging market intelligence and advanced sourcing methodologies to optimize total landed cost.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic supplier relationships, leading collaborative initiatives such as cost reduction programs while proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks through structured risk assessment approaches.
  • Lead complex procurement and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, partnering cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee site-specific procurement processes, ensuring compliance with internal data governance, regulatory requirements (e.g., Incoterms, export controls), and continuous improvement of procurement workflows to drive efficiency and cycle time reduction.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle time, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across procurement activities.
